  • Manage Ipreo’s Global Research Analyst  Group(US, India, and South Africa offices) in the collection of buy-side and sell-side, fixed income and equity data used by Ipreo’s Capital Markets and Corporate Investor Relations client base.  Responsible for research business including operations, organization, development, process optimization, management of staff, and management of financial performance. 
  • Work closely with Managing Director in the integration of global buy-side and sell-side data following the acquisition Capital Bridge, a South African company specializing in stock watch, investor profiling and targeting, and perception studies.
  • Management of internal Capital Markets database.  Function as lead manager in all data migrations, including the creation of conversion plans, writing data integration logic and specifications, and conversion testing. 
  • Responsible for increasing value proposition of Ipreo product suite, via the integration of global fixed income data.  Created 18 month project plan to train global Research Analyst (US, India and South Africa) on fixed income securities, and met project goal of identifying 25,000 global fixed income investors to include in Ipreo product. Managed full lifecycle of fixed income project including training of onshore and offshore analysts, creating methodologies and processes for data collection, writing specifications and requirements for internal database used to store fixed income data, tracking and reporting project process to Executive Committee on a monthly basis.  Made staff restructuring recommendations to facilitate the ongoing collection of new data, and the management of existing data.
  • Manage global Research department budget against staffing and retention costs, training and development.  Forecast future budget needs to support new and ongoing data
     initiatives.
  • Manage offshore and onshore employees (entry-, mid-, and advance/management-level). Responsible for offshore and onshore hiring, training, and retention, performance
     evaluations and salary review/promotions of global employees. 
  • Responsible for strategic planning, including departmental/team restructuring, new data integration and implementation of data initiatives.  Identify new business opportunities and forge strategic relationships with potential business ventures.
  • Create and maintain Ipreo’s global Research best practices documentation, write Research processes and methodologies, conduct semi-annual/annual ongoing global training for global Research group.
  • Set annual goals for global Research group, track, monitor, and report global performance
     of Research group against monthly, quarterly, and annual goals.  Monitor and evaluate
     global performance and make recommendations on staffing for current business needs, as
     well as longer term strategic planning and budgets. 
  • Supply marketing and operations committee with marketing and Research business performance reports on a monthly basis. 
  • Establish and maintain relationships with vendors and negotiated contract/pricing terms.
  • Work closely with Account Management, Sales and Technology to mitigate data and product issues.  Visit Capital Markets and Corporate Investor Relations clients and conduct WebEx trainings to explain data collection methodology and best practices.  Create and distribute monthly/quarterly and annual performance updates.
